Mediterranean Symposium on Landslides
07 Jun 2021 - 09 Jun 2021 • Naples, Italy
Landslides represent a relevant problem for most of the countries overlooking the Mediterranean. This trivial consideration should prompt researchers, professionals, and stakeholders in this region to form closer relationships and engage themselves in a continuous exchange of data and ideas to find common strategies of landslide risk mitigation. With the goal in mind of urging people living on the Mediterranean to join their efforts, we decided to organize a Mediterranean Symposium on Landslides (MSL) in Napoli in June, 2021 hoping that this initiative will be the first of a series of similar periodic events.

GS21 — SIAM Conference on Mathematical & Computational Issues in the Geosciences
21 Jun 2021 - 24 Jun 2021 • Milan, Italy
Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM)
The study of geophysical systems at all scales, whether from a scientific or technological perspective, calls for sophisticated mathematical modeling, efficient computational methods, and pervasive integration with data. This effort is fundamentally interdisciplinary. This conference aims to stimulate the exchange of ideas among geoscientific modelers, applied mathematicians, statisticians, and other scientists, fostering new research in the mathematical foundations with an impact on geoscience applications.
This is the meeting of the SIAM Activity Group on Geosciences.
Conference-Service.com offers, as part of its business activities, a directory of upcoming scientific and technical meetings. The calendar is published for the convenience of conference participants and we strive to support conference organisers who need to publish their upcoming events.
