13 Oct 2017 - 14 Oct 2017 • Bodrum, Turkey
Hundereds of new alien species have been encountered in the coastal environments of the Mediterranean Sea in recent decades, including the poisonous pufferfish. The invasion of pufferfish species has caused huge damage to the marine ecosystem in the Mediterranean, while there is a lack of basic knowledge of monitoring methodology, specific life characteristics of pufferfish species and risk assessments. The Symposium will focus on anything matter concerning pufferfish (Tetraodontidae) species.
