	abstract: The main theme of the workshop will be the interplay between operator theory and algebra. The workshop will follow our usual format. A few hours of talks will be scheduled for the morning sessions, while afternoons will be reserved for work in smaller groups. In addition there will be two special sections. Saturday morning will be dedicated to honor Professor Ivan Vidav in celebration of his 90th birthday.
