Harmonic Analysis of Elliptic and Parabolic Partial Differential Equations

This conference aims to present a range of recent advances in harmonic analysis of partial differential equations. These advances are based on a common circle of ideas, but are happening at such a rapid pace that no expert has yet been able to develop a global vision of how the field is evolving. By bringing together some of the leading experts in the field, this conference aims to collectively develop such a vision. By sharing this development with a large number of early career participants, the conference also aims to ensure that the domain remains vibrant and innovative. Topics will include differential operators with L infinity coefficient, singular integrals theory beyond the Calderon-Zygmund framework, first order differential systems, Dirac operators, Hodge theory in Lp; adapted function spaces for rough differential operators (tents, Hardy, BMO, and Besov spaces), elliptic boundary value problems on non smooth domains, parabolic PDEs, Navier-Stokes equations etc.

SPDEs — Stochastic Partial Differential Equations

Stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs) have been an increasingly active field of research since the late 1960s. As illustrated by Martin Hairer's Fields Medal, obtained in 2014 for developing the theory of regularity structures, SPDEs have now become a central field in mathematics, at the intersection of probability theory and analysis of partial differential equations. SPDEs have many important applications, for instance in condensed matter physics, chemistry, neuroscience, climate modelling, and in financial mathematics. Many very promising advances have been made in recent years, both on a fundamental level, such as existence results for very singular equations, and on an applied level, including quantitative results on the behaviour of solutions and numerical methods. The aim of the workshop is to gather a number of leading international experts of the field, in order to obtain an overall picture of recent progress, and to discuss open problems and future directions.

In recent years, there have been several important advances in the theory of differential and other functional equations. This field of research lies at the interface between several areas of mathematics, e.g., number theory, model theory, combinatorics and automata theory, theoretical physics, theoretical informatics, etc. This conference aims to gather researchers from a variety of backgrounds, whose research is related to the theory of functional equations. We will address theoretical as well as effective aspects. This is an international conference, every interested researcher can apply.
