These conferences have acted in the past as a welcome forum to report and discuss the latest advancements in Hydro-Science and Engineering and as such have always been highly valued by all participants. Undoubtedly, the ICHE-2008 will provide an opportunity for making numerous personal and professional contacts. The theme of this conference is 'New Challenge of Hydro-Science and Engineering toward Sustainability through Flood Risk, Water Resources & Ecosystem Assessment'. Though the topics discussed in this conference are wide as listed below, they will be organized as several mini-symposia to clarify the direction of the new challenge.
