abstract: Im Oktober 2008 trifft sich die internationale Fachwelt der Wasserstoff- und Brennstoffzellen-Technologie in Hamburg zur siebten H2Expo. Erstmals findet während der H2Expo 2008 auch eine Konferenz statt, bei der das weltweit erste brennstoffzellengetriebene Fahrgastschiff vorgestellt wird, das im Sommer seinen Fahrdienst in Hamburg aufnimmt. Ein Konsortium aus neun Firmen hat das Zemships (Zero Emission Ships, d.h. ohne Ausstoß von schädlichem CO2) mit Unterstützung der EU entwickelt und will nun die Alltagstauglichkeit der innovativen Brennstoffzellen-Technologie unter Beweis stellen. In der begleitenden Fachausstellung der H2Expo zeigen Unternehmen ihre technischen Entwicklungen auf dem Gebiet des Brennstoffzellen-Einsatzes. Besondere Exponate - 2006 wurden unter anderem Fahrzeuge mit diesem Antrieb gezeigt - demonstrieren die Möglichkeiten, die es bereits auf diesem Gebiet gibt. Ein hochkarätiges Rahmenprogramm ergänzt das Angebotsspektrum von Konferenz und Fachmesse H2Expo.
