In agreement with the traditional character of this conference and with the scientific background of the plasma community of Bari, a strong effort will be made to create a link between the newest LIBS applications, technologies and methodologies and earlier achievements in laser-induced plasma knowledge, including fundamentals and modeling. Throughout the duration of the conference, social events will be organized in order to promote informal discussions between the participants. A Young Scientist award will be presented to the best contribution given by students.
