Abstract	Fractals, multifractals, non-linear processes and chaotic dynamical systems are becoming increasingly fundamental for analyzing data and understanding processes in the Earth and Environmental Sciences. The aim of this conference is to present the latest research and techniques in the application of fractals and dynamic systems to Earth systems, with emphases on predictability of geological risks, natural resources and climate change.
