Zusammenfassung: The organizers welcome university and industry researchers working in the broad field of catalysis to attend the symposium. Special focus will be put on environmental catalysis and catalysis for sustainable energy solutions.

Zusammenfassung: This course, given by Professor Victor Snieckus, provides the background, modern literature and the conceptual framework for transition metal catalysed cross-coupling reactions in aromatic/heteroaromatic synthetic chemistry. This course is aimed at research and development and production chemists in fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, colour chemicals, flavour and fragrance and intermediate industries.

Zusammenfassung: Stereochemistry remains a key component of organic synthesis, and the challenges of asymmetric synthesis continue to provide a fertile ground for new discoveries and inventions in stereocontrol. The conference will include new chemistry ranging from diastereoselective methodology, through enantioselective organometallic processes to asymmetric organocatalysis, and to applications in synthesis.
