SSNET'17 — Shapes and Symmetries in Nuclei : from Experiment to Theory
06 Nov 2017 - 10 Nov 2017 • Gif sur Yvette, France
Following the first edition of the SSNET conference in 2016 — whose scientific success was the result of the high-quality presentations and posters filling in the scientific programme, judged by the participants as of high actuality and importance in our research domain — we decided to organise the next edition: SSNET'17. We are therefore pleased to announce that the second edition of the conference.

SSNET'17 Conference — Shapes and Symmetries in Nuclei: from Experiment to Theory
06 Nov 2017 - 10 Nov 2017 • Caen, France
As in the previous -and successful!- edition, the conference aims at strengthening the international collaboration between the nuclear structure physicists from France, Europe and other laboratories all around the world. It will allow fruitful discussions on recent experimental and theoretical aspects of nuclear structure related to the manifestation and description of the various shapes and geometrical symmetries of the nucleus as well as other symmetries and symmetry breaking.
12 Dec 2017 - 14 Dec 2017 • Caen, France
This workshop is a follow-up of the ones organized In January and December last year, in which ambitious scientific programs were discussed in the topics of shell evolution, nuclear clustering and pairing, physics at the drip lines, nuclear astrophysics, soft/giant/collective modes, fundamental properties of nuclei, exotic decay modes, study of super heavy elements as well as the equation of state of nuclear matter.
FB22 — XXII International Conference on Few-Body Problems in Physics
09 Jul 2018 - 13 Jul 2018 • Caen, France
The next international Conference on Few-Body Problems in Physics (FB22) will be held in Caen, France from the 9to 13 July 2018. This will be the 22nd edition in the conference series which began in 1959 in London and was most recently held in Chicago (2015) and Fukuoka (2012). Following tradition FB22 will cover a broad range of topics - both theoretical and experimental - with the aim of bringing togther diverse communities to share and debate ideas in few-body physics.
Atomic and molecular physics Hadron and related high-energy physics Strange and exotic matter, including hypernuclear physics Few-nucleon systems Few-body aspects of nuclear physics and nuclear astrophysics
