SRP Annual Conference 2018
01 May 2018 - 03 May 2018 • Southport Theatre and Convention Centre, United Kingdom
As the UK legislative landscape for radiation protection changes due to the BSS implementation and 'Brexit' it is an ideal time to reflect on what has worked, what learning opportunities there are from what hasn't and as the impact of the revised legislation is revealed, what the future of radiation protection looks like going into the future.
AOCRP-5 — 5th Asian & Oceanic Regional Congress on Radiation Protection
20 May 2018 - 23 May 2018 • Melbourne, Australia
This Congress will be the international meeting for 2018 in the Asia-Pacific Region and offers the opportunity to meet and discuss radiation safety matters in all areas of application of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. Radiation safety professionals face continuing challenges with evolving standards, increased proliferation of complex radiation technologies, such as medical sector radiation applications, in an environment of tight resources and increased regulatory scrutiny. The 2018 Congress will offer the opportunity for face to face discussion in all areas of our profession.

5th European IRPA Congress
04 Jun 2018 - 08 Jun 2018 • The Hague, Netherlands
The Dutch Society for Radiation Protection (NVS) is pleased to host the 5th European IRPA Congress, scheduled to take place from 4th to 8th June, 2018 in the historical city of The Hague, The Netherlands.
With the theme “Encouraging Sustainability in Radiation Protection”, the congress will focus on aspects needed to make sure that we have, and will continue to have, adequate equipment, staff and resources to protect human health and our environment against the adverse effects of ionising and non-ionising radiation.
PARM 2018 — Summer School "Post-Accident Radiation Monitoring Techniques"
17 Jun 2018 - 23 Jun 2018 • Kiev, Ukraine
The Chernobyl accident has provided a unique opportunity for research and training on emergency response and post-accidental radiation monitoring. It is one of only a few places in the world where effective training and experience in internal and external dose assessment, radioactive sample collection and preparation, contamination mapping and decision making can be provided in real highly contaminated area. It is important to expand such experience for upgrading of post-accident radiation monitoring techniques and decision making in a case of nuclear or other radiological accident.
