Abstract	The aim of ISCC is to cover all the aspects of carbanion chemistry (synthetic, mechanistic, structural, and theoretical) and to promote exchange of ideas and collaborations among participants. We strongly encourage younger scientists to attend the meeting in order to get in touch and see, first hand, the state of the art in the field. To this end, a reduced registration fee is available for young participants.
