ICAC — 2016 IEEE International Conference on Autonomic Computing
ID
769242
Dates
17 Jul 2016 - 22 Jul 2016
Location
Würzburg, Germany
Abstract
Large-scale systems of all types, such as data centers, computer clouds, smart cities, cyber-physical systems, sensor networks, and embedded or pervasive environments, are becoming increasingly complex and burdensome for people to manage. Autonomic computing systems reduce this burden by managing their own behavior in accordance with high-level goals. In autonomic systems, resources and applications are managed to maximize performance and minimize cost, while maintaining predictable and reliable behavior in the face of varying workloads, failures, and malicious threats. Achieving self-management requires and motivates research that spans a wide variety of scientific and engineering disciplines, including distributed systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, modeling, control theory, optimization, planning, decision theory, user interface design, data management, software engineering, emergent behavior analysis, and bio-inspired computing.

IT-Training — Modul AGILA - Agile Software Architektur
ID
761146
Dates
14 Sep 2016 - 16 Sep 2016
Location
Berlin, Germany
Abstract

IT-Training — Modul SOA - Serviceorientierte Architekturen
ID
760920
Dates
26 Sep 2016 - 28 Sep 2016
Location
Berlin, Germany
Abstract

IT-Training — Modul WEB - Web-Architekturen
ID
761074
Dates
28 Sep 2016 - 30 Sep 2016
Location
Berlin, Germany
Abstract

IEEE-SCAM — Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers International Working Conference on Source Code Analysis and Maniupulation
ID
762017
Dates
02 Oct 2016 - 03 Oct 2016
Location
Raleigh, United States
Abstract
The aim of the International Working Conference on Source Code Analysis & Manipulation (SCAM) is to bring together researchers and practitioners working on theory, techniques and applications which concern analysis and/or manipulation of the source code of computer systems. While much attention in the wider software engineering community is properly directed towards other aspects of systems development and evolution, such as specification, design and requirements engineering, it is the source code that contains the only precise description of the behaviour of the system. The analysis and manipulation of source code thus remains a pressing concern.

Location
Limassol, Cyprus
Abstract
FM 2016  is the 21st in a series of symposia organized by  Formal Methods Europe, an independent association whose aim is to stimulate the use of, and research on, formal methods for software development. The symposia have been notably successful in bringing together innovators and practitioners in precise mathematical methods for software and systems development, industrial users, as well as researchers. The FM symposia welcome original papers on research and industrial experience, proposals for workshops and tutorials, entries for the exhibition of software tools and projects, and reports on ongoing doctoral work.   FM 2016 gratefully acknowledges the support of our sponsors. FM is the first and largest conference covering the rapidly growing area of formal methods. During the past three decades, many of the advances achieved in model-driven software engineering, validation and verification of software systems, design methods and tools have been first published in the proceedings of the FM conference series. FM is a technical conference gathering 200–300 world-leading researchers from academia and industry approximately every 18 months. The conference is held at different locations, mostly across Europe, and is organized by a local committee.
