ICTSTEM 2020 — 2020 International Conference on Technologies in STEM
09 Jul 2020 - 10 Jul 2020 • Singapore, Singapore
Organizer:
East Asia Research & Siam University
Abstract:
2020 International Conference on Technologies in STEM (ICTSTEM 2020), organized by East Asia Research and supported by Siam University in Thailand will be held in the cosmopolitan city of Singapore. The conference aims to further the application of technology education within STEM and specific learning areas. Within Technology education, students use design and/or computational thinking and technologies to generate and produce designed solutions both digital and physical for authentic problems. As such it applies many of the areas of STEM. We invite practitioners and researchers to network and share their experiences. Teachers, and heads of learning areas as well as teacher educators, researchers and HDR researchers from K to higher education are all encouraged to attend. A broad range of technology education topics, including significant developments as well as innovative uses of technology that promote learning, performance, and instruction, will be presented at ICTSTEM 2020.

EDM 2020 — 13th International Conference on Educational Data Mining
10 Jul 2020 - 13 Jul 2020 • Ifrane, Morocco
Abstract:
Educational Data Mining is a leading international forum for high-quality research that mines datasets to answer educational research questions, including exploring how people learn and how they teach. These data may originate from a variety of learning contexts, including learning and information management systems, interactive learning environments, intelligent tutoring systems, educational games, and data-rich learning activities. Educational data mining considers a wide variety of types of data, including but not limited to raw log files, student-produced artifacts, discourse, and multimodal streams such as eye-tracking and other sensor data. The overarching goal of the Educational Data Mining research community is to support learners and teachers more effectively, by developing data-driven understandings of the learning and teaching processes in a wide variety of contexts and for diverse learners.

ETLTC2020-VIRTUAL — ETLTC2020-VIRTUAL: 2nd ACM Chapter International Conference on Educational Technology, Language and Technical Communication
21 Aug 2020 - 22 Aug 2020 • Aizuwakamatsu, Japan
Organizer:
ETLTC & ACM Chapter on Elearning and Technical Communication
Abstract:
ETLTC2020-Virtual is an initiative of the ACM Chapter on Elearning and Technical Communication and the Technical Communication Lab based out of the Center for Language Research, Dept of Computer Science at the University of Aizu, Japan. The ETLTC 2020-Virtual theme – Educational Technology and Technology Assisted Language Learning addresses the collaboration between the use of technology in global education and language studies. The idea of this conference is to foster a global communication platform that aims to discuss technology-assisted language learning and teaching and customer satisfaction worldwide in all other uses of educational technology. This is an opportunity to create synergy between educators and industry professionals across a wide spectrum of applications. The conference’s two cross-cutting themes are designed to help unpack the interrelations of quality education, use of technology for academic and industrial learning, and the technical communication that will help people understand the details of the use of such technology through the lenses of linguists and technical communicators, consumers of technology, customers who handle e-commerce technologies and interfaces that lead to learning; teachers including corporate trainers; education specialists, school and corporate leadership, and school and corporate governance. ETLTC's community of educational researchers, policymakers, and practitioners increasingly recognize that educational and industrial challenges in the use of technology, language and communication are getting increasingly complex, dynamic and multidimensional. ETLTC will, therefore, create a platform for exchange, learning, and collaboration between professionals who are working directly in the industry or in close association with it, and traditional faculty and students who work with different educational technologies in daily life. This platform will also allow us to understand how to bridge the gap between what we teach in our classes, and how useful it is in real life industry (transfer skills).

neo-sai2020 — Comprendre et construire les nouvelles situations d'apprentissage instrumentées
04 Nov 2020 - 05 Nov 2020 • Rouen, France
Organizer:
LINEACT - CESI, CIRNEF, LITIS
