NANOARCH — 2017 IEEE/ACM International Symposium on Nanoscale Architectures
25 Jul 2017 - 26 Jul 2017 • Newport, RI, United States
Abstract:
NANOARCH is the annual cross-disciplinary forum for the discussion of novel post-CMOS nanocomputing directions and emerging nanoscale CMOS. The symposium seeks papers on innovative ideas for solutions to the principal challenge facing integrated electronics in the 21st century - how to design, fabricate, and integrate nanosystems to overcome the fundamental limitations of CMOS. In particular, such systems could (1) contain unconventional nanodevices with unique capabilities, including directions beyond simple switches, (2) introduce new logic and memory concepts, (3) involve novel circuit styles, (4) introduce new concepts for computing, (5) reconfigure and/or mask faults at much higher rates than in CMOS, (6) explore security architectures with nanotechnology, (7) involve new paradigms for manufacturing, and (8) rethink the methodologies and design tools involved.

OI — 2018 IEEE Optical Interconnects Conference
07 May 2018 - 09 May 2018 • Santa Fe, NM, United States
Abstract:
The eighth IEEE Photonics Society Optical Interconnects Conference, whose roots trace back to the original 1990 Workshop on Interconnections within High Speed Digital Systems, seeks to facilitate the collaboration required to drive new interconnect architectures and technologies from concepts in research labs to commercial realities. The conference covers the complete spectrum of high performance interconnect challenges in network systems, architectures, applications, subsystems, and devices. The crucial role that any interconnect strategy plays can only be fully realized when optimized at the system level. This is particularly so in large future peta- and exa-scale platforms in datacenters and supercomputers. So we look forward to the participation of system architects, programmers and everyone researching the interconnect role in a more self-aware next generation platform.
