Abstract:
The Kazakhstan's Central Hospital of the Veteran with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, invites you to the conference “Development of gerontology and geriatrics in Kazakhstan: from theory to implementation" November 22, 2024 in Astana (Kazakhstan) offline/online. The purpose of this conference is to increase the scientific level of income through the exchange of experience, information, advanced skills, attracting researchers/doctors/phisitians/nurses/residents to progress in promising research, identifying opportunities for doctors to participate in the prospects for improving medical practice and introducing effective technologies in the field of geriatrics and gerontology. The conference program includes achievements of science and practice in the field of geriatrics and gerontology, as well as analysis of guilty patients and experience in using methods of diagnosis and treatment of the age category of the population. Issues in the field of geriatrics and gerontology will be considered: - current issues of providing medical care to elderly and elderly people; - features of pharmacotherapy for elderly and senile people; - current problems of gerontology and translational medicine; - education in the field of geriatrics for doctors, paramedical personnel, social work specialists; - the role of social services, non-profit organizations and business; - somatic diseases of an elderly person. Official languages: Kazakh, Russian, English. Conference location: Kazakhstan, Astana, Abay Avenue 29 (Philarmonic’s Hall) Time: 08.30 -10.00 – registration, 10.00 – opening of the conference.
