	abstract: Every scientist has a different view about the meaning of "Geofluids". But all agree that today Geofluids are an essential aspect of our view of Geophysical, Geochemical and Geological processes and not only on this planet. Our present understanding of the dynamic concepts of Earth's processes from the surface to the core is based on the recognition of the importance of fluid phases in these processes. At GEOFLUIDS VI in Adelaide we will bring together the representatives of Geofluid research and we hope that we can continue the unique strength of the GEOFLUIDS venue: to unite the theory and application of fluids in geosciences. Adelaide is the capital of the driest state on the driest inhabited continent. We are looking forward to welcoming the world's leading experts on GEOFLUIDS in 2009!
