Résumé: It is the annual IEEE Region 3 Technical, Professional, and Student Conference. As the premier conference for the IEEE Region 3, it brings together electrical, computer and other engineering and science professionals, faculty and students to share the latest information through technical sessions, tutorials and exhibits. The conference schedule includes: a technical program with seminars, tutorials, and workshops; exhibits; a student program with student competitions; and IEEE regional meetings.

Résumé: The aim of this workshop is to foster discussion on the newest and most exciting research in the development and applications of terahertz instrumentation based on optical sources. In addition to the presentation of peer reviewed papers, we have added activities for students and newcomers, including a tutorial session immediately before the conference begins.

Résumé: Interconnections within digital computing and switching systems today are often a critical performance bottleneck. The purpose of this Workshop is to determine the interconnection requirements of emerging and future computer and communications systems and to discuss state-of-the-art solutions in wired and wireless, optical and electrical interconnection technologies. Interconnection technologies are considered at the component, packaging, and systems level.

Résumé: The ODS topical meeting provides an excellent forum for exchanging information on the status, advances, and future directions in the field of optical data storage. Contributions are encouraged from a variety of areas spanning basic theory and modeling to manufacturing and testing methods including optical drive systems, sub-systems and components, coding and channels, media development and design, and industrial and consumer applications. Invited talks in many of these areas will round out the 3 day program.

Résumé: The IMW is a unique forum for specialists in all aspects of nonvolatile memory microelectronics and people with different backgrounds who wish to gain a better understanding of the field. The morning and afternoon technical sessions are organized in a manner to provide ample time for informal exchanges amongst presenters and attendees. The evening panel discussions will address hot topics in the nonvolatile field.
