ChemCYS 2018 — Chemistry Conference for Young Scientists
21 Feb 2018 - 23 Feb 2018 • Blankenberge, Belgium
Our conference gives young attendees the opportunity to present early results of their research. Topics are focussed on the typical research domains in chemistry. The best oral and poster presentation of each session will be awarded. Plenary keynote lectures by world-renowned scientists are scheduled as well. 2016 Nobel prize laureate Prof. Dr Ben Feringa (University of Groningen) will give a lecture on molecular machines. Prof. Dr Sir Martyn Poliakoff (University of Nottingham) will engage you his talk focussing on green chemistry with respect to the environment and 2009 Nobel prize laureate Ada Yonath (Weizmann Institute of Science) will give a lecture on the discovery of the structure of ribosomes.
ISPROCHEM — International School of Process Chemistry
08 Apr 2018 - 11 Apr 2018 • Gargnano, Italy
The main aim of the school is to TRANSFER to the young generation of chemists willing to DEVELOP their scientific career in the Pharmaceutical industry the fundamentals and the art of Process Chemistry in a positive and friendly environment. The program intends to give to the audience some basic information and the common language of active pharmaceutical ingredients field. The 2018 edition will include an Introduction to Pharmaceutical Industry, a historical perspective on APIs synthesis and several lectures aimed to understand the logic of the industrial development of a new product (see topics listed below). Case studies on API synthesis, polymorphism and thermal safety will be also presented.
Maurizio Benaglia; Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
synthetic route selection, API definition, solid state issues in APIs, process development, catalysis, thermal safety, practical considerations for scale-up, appropriate analytical work and quality definition of the target product. Special topics of the 2018 edition: Biocatalysis, Flow Chemistry, Intellectual Property.
XI International School on Organometallic Chemistry "Marcial Moreno Mañas"
06 Jun 2018 - 08 Jun 2018 • Oviedo, Asturias, Spain
Annual meeting aims to bring together young students, early career researchers, and leading scientists
Postgraduate Summer School on Green Chemistry
07 Jul 2018 - 14 Jul 2018 • Venice, Italy
10th MaxQuant Summer School — On Computational Mass Spectrometry-Based Proteomics
08 Jul 2018 - 13 Jul 2018 • Barcelona, Spain
The Summer School will provide hands-on training in computational analysis of proteomics data generated by high-resolution mass spectrometry. This powerful technology is increasingly applied to systems-wide investigations of different aspects of cell biology. The practical part will enable participants to perform sophisticated quantitative data analysis in their own future research using the publicly available MaxQuant software (Cox, J. and Mann, M. (2008).
