CECP 2018 — Central European Conference on Photochemistry
04 Feb 2018 - 08 Feb 2018 • Bad Hofgastein, Austria
The meeting is intended to bring together scientist of different central European countries at one place to discuss their recent results. A lot of experience in photochemistry will be present to give everybody the chance for interesting scientific exchange. Additionally scientists from other countries inside and outside of Europe are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting for a truly international knowledge exchange.

Photoredox Catalysis for Novel Organic Reactions
24 Apr 2018 - 26 Apr 2018 • Potsdam, Germany
Organic photocatalysis is certainly one of the synthesis tools which have the potential to change the face of organic chemistry. Recent literature describes that more and more “novel” simple reactions previously thought to be kinetically impossible are enabled. This also includes so-called uphill reactions where endothermicity is compensated by photon energy. This symposium intends to catch this trend in a systematic way. The diverse communities who are working on new organic reactions, synthesizing new photocatalysts or designing devices and processes to optimize the chemical engineering of photocatalysis are intended to meet and exchange the newest information out of their research lab. The overall aim is to harvest the currently accessible full potential of organic photocatalysis by exchanging thoughts and concepts. The symposium hotel is located in Potsdam near Berlin, directly on the banks of the Griebnitzsee. The number of participants is limited to around 50 including 20 invited speakers and the program is designed specifically to allow sufficient time for discussions and a stimulating exchange of thoughts and ideas.

Faraday Discussion — Artificial Photosynthesis
25 Mar 2019 - 27 Mar 2019 • Cambridge, United Kingdom
This Faraday Discussion meeting will be the third edition in a series on this topic (Edinburgh, 2011 and Kyoto, 2017) and will discuss recent breakthroughs and contemporary challenges in the field. The dynamic pace and progress in artificial photosynthesis research justify the timeliness of this meeting, as we are now at a decisive stage where some of the fundamental questions have been answered and applications are becoming a reality.
Faraday Discussion — Advances in Ion Spectroscopy - From Astrophysics to Biology
08 Apr 2019 - 10 Apr 2019 • York, United Kingdom
The rapid growth of the field and impressive scientific achievements over the past decade make this meeting both timely and topical and we hope will provide a roadmap of where the field is and what the challenges will be over the next 5-10 years and beyond.
