Conferences and Meetings on Applied Physics: Neutron Scattering
Conference-Service.com offers, as part of our business activities, a directory of upcoming scientific and technical meetings. The calendar is published for the convenience of conference participants and we strive to support conference organisers who need to publish their upcoming events.
Although great care is being taken to ensure the correctness of all entries, we cannot accept any liability that may arise from the presence, absence or incorrectness of any particular information on this website. Always check with the meeting organiser before making arrangements to participate in an event!
Meeting organisers can submit meetings free of charge for inclusion into the listing.

canSAS: Small Angle Scattering Workshop
05 Jun 2017 - 07 Jun 2017
San Francisco, CA, United States
The use of both neutrons and X-rays is widespread and co-operation between these facilities and the user community has been fostered by the working groups that address specific fields.
Neutrons in Structural Biology
07 Jun 2017 - 09 Jun 2017
μSR2017 — MLZ conference on Neutrons for Health
25 Jun 2017 - 30 Jun 2017
The goal of health research is to improve medical care and quality of life for the population. In the future individually tailored options for prevention and treatment will play a vital role, but it will also be important to better understand the role of metabolic syndromes for the major common diseases. Understanding complex biological processes requires the use of the full scientific and analytical methods available. Particularly strong are methods that offer insight into the structure and the dynamics at the molecular scale of the processes involved. The application of neutron scattering and neutron radiation to health and life sciences is often lesser known but neutrons target very specific problems and reveal unique information.
ICNS 2017 — 9th International Conference on Neutron Scattering
09 Jul 2017 - 13 Jul 2017
Daejeon Convention Center, South Korea
SCES 2017 — International Conference on Strongly Correlated Electron Systems
17 Jul 2017 - 21 Jul 2017
Following the tradition, SCES 2017 will cover a wide range of topics in the diverse field of strongly correlated electron systems. SCES emphasizes the fundamental physics of electron interactions in systems that span from bulk materials including f-electron based heavy Fermions, d-electron based compounds, and organic materials toartificial materials such as nanoscale structures as well as cold atoms in optical lattices. The main topics that will be featured in SCES 2017 will include traditional ones from previous conferences completed by the promising recently developed research areas.
