 Abstract Die Teilnehmer lernen Verfahren speziell für die Diagnose von Elektromotoren kennen, mit deren Hilfe Schädigungen an Rotorstäben und Wicklungen diagnostiziert werden können. Ebenso werden Möglichkeiten der detaillierten Diagnose von Verzahnungen in Getrieben erläutert. Einen weiteren Schwerpunkt bildet die Strukturuntersuchung von Antriebssträngen. Ziel ist es hierbei, die Ursachen häufig wiederkehrender Maschinenausfälle zu finden. An zahlreichen Praxisbeispielen werden vertiefende Techniken zur Bestimmung des Zustands erklärt und die notwendigen schwingungs- und maschinenbautechnischen Zusammenhänge nachvollziehbar dargestellt.

 Abstract Das Seminar beinhaltet eine Einführung in die Begriffswelt der Akustik und der grundlegenden Sachverhalte. Besonderes Gewicht wird dabei gelegt auf die Grundtatsachen der Wahrnehmung von Schall und der quantifizierenden Beschreibung durch Schallpegel, auf die Betrachtung der physikalischen Größen der Schallfelder, ihrer Zusammenhänge und den wichtigsten Begriffen (z.B. Wellenlänge, Schallschnelle, Schallleistung,...) und auf die Schilderung der beiden praktisch interessierenden Umgebung der Ausbreitung im Freien und in Innenräumen.
