Zusammenfassung: The Nonlinear Photonics Topical Meeting has its origins in and replaces the Nonlinear Guided Waves meetings of the past. The intention of this meeting is to gather together theorists and experimentalists from around the world who are interested in nonlinear optical processes in devices and structures in order to define the state-of-the-art in this field and to enable interactions and collaborations.

Zusammenfassung: The International Workshop on Nonlinear Optics and Excitation Kinetics in Semiconductors is the 10th meeting in a series which started in 1987 and was continued at several locations in Germany. These meetings have focused on the area of nonlinear optics and ultrafast dynamics of semiconductors and other material systems. Previous NOEKS meetings have always been of high scientific standard and often played a pioneering role in stimulating new developments.
