Meetings/Workshops on Plasma and Gas-discharge Physics in Germany

Conference-Service.com offers, as part of our business activities, a directory of upcoming scientific and technical meetings. The calendar is published for the convenience of conference participants and we strive to support conference organisers who need to publish their upcoming events. Although great care is being taken to ensure the correctness of all entries, we cannot accept any liability that may arise from the presence, absence or incorrectness of any particular information on this website. Always check with the meeting organiser before making arrangements to participate in an event!

Meeting organisers can submit meetings free of charge for inclusion into the listing.

5.PSE 2012 — 13th International Conference on Plasma Surface Engineering
 Dates 10 Sep 2012 → 14 Sep 2012
[ID=461443] Go to top of page
 LocationGarmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany
Abstract PSE provides an opportunity to present recent progress in research and development and industrial applications. Its topics span a wide range from fundamentals such as e. g. process modelling and simulation of plasmas or thin film physics, through empirical studies which e. g. establish the relationships between process parameters and the structural and functional properties of modified surfaces and/or thin films, towards the application in industrial production. With numerous industrial exhibitors and an exceptionally large fraction of participants from industry (30 % in 2010), a special feature of PSE is the intimate and vivid interaction between those being involved in basic research and those who have to meet the rapidly increasing demands in industrial production.
Topics Plasma Surface Engineering, Ion- and Particle-Beam assisted Surface modification, Thin Film Technologies, Process Modelling, Simulation of Plasmas
